Writers Chat Recap for May, Part 1

May 15, 2019

Writers Chat, hosted by Jean Wise, Johnnie Alexander, and Bethany Jett, is the show where we talk about all things writing, by writers and for writers!

“Because talking about writing is more fun than actually doing it.”

Writing Routines and Atomic Habits

Jean Wise shares tips from James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. Her panel of guests weigh in on good and bad habits and what they’ve done to create or extinguish habits. If you have good habits or are in need of some, this is the episode for you.

Watch the April 30th replay.

Creating Memes on Canva with Jann W. Martin

Author, Jann W. Martin, shares tips on creating memes using Canva. Memes are an essential part of social media and help you convey your message. Jann shows, by way of demonstration, how to create a meme. She also shares how it’s important to think about the colors you choose because of the meaning or mood certain colors portray. If you have not used memes due to lack of knowing how, or you need some new ideas, then this episode is for you.

Watch the May 7th replay.
