The Ever-Expanding World of Realm Makers
In this episode of Writers Chat, Scott and Becky Minor, the founders of the premier event for Christian writers of speculative fiction, join us to talk about Realm Makers! Hear what’s new for 2026 with the Realm Makers Conference, Expo, online community, and more.
Watch the May 12th replay.
Rebecca Minor founded Realm Makers in 2013 to serve Christian writers whose work falls into the gap of “too weird for the usual churchgoing crowd, but not quite weird enough for the sci fi/fantasy convention world.” She writes faith-infused sword and sorcery fantasy and has published seven novels.
Scott Minor’s vision for the Realm Makers Bookstore began with running that aspect of the annual conference, but now involves taking books by our award-winning authors to live events across the country to help those books find new readers. He also oversees our pool of volunteers, providing direction and vision for the Realm Makers livestream, the membership program, and dedicated online community, The RealmSphere, while also handling the logistical aspects of the annual conference.
